This is a themed programming via a partnership between Royal Caribbean International and Amblin Partners (DreamWorks SKG's owner company). Universal Pictures is the distributor of the DreamWorks movie productions through its subsidiary company Touchstone Pictures. From early July 2024 to early February 2025, the ship will relocate to Miami to offer the same three- and four-night Bahamas sailings, including Perfect Day at CocoCay. At press time, prices started at $282 per person ($94 per person, per night) for an inside room on a three-night cruise. It still astounds me that some of Royal Caribbean's ships have ice skating rinks on board. For carousel rides, fortune telling and arcade games, the Boardwalk is your best bet.
EXPERIENCE A VIRTUAL TOUR
Ten different suite categories range from the 287 square foot Junior Balcony Suite sleeping five to massive two-level multi-room suites. All suites have bathtubs and access to the suite lounge’s Coastal Kitchen, a restaurant designated only for suite level passengers. Higher-end suites include complimentary internet, alcohol and specialty restaurants. Staterooms with a view are a bit larger, contain a small sitting area and can sleep up to five, via a Pullman bed. Passengers can choose a view of the ocean, or the Boardwalk or Central Park neighborhoods. Balcony Staterooms fit up to four people, giving them more space because of the generous fifty square foot balconies which contain a metal table and chairs.
Free Dining
Mainstream cruise lines cater to a variety of guests, hoping to provide something for everyone. To see if you would save money with a drink package, try our Drink Package Calculator. The bars on the Royal Promenade are diverse, fun, and are identical to those on the Oasis of the Seas. They include the Schooner Bar, On Air Club, Boleros, Rising Tide, and the Champagne Bar.

And families discover adventure for all ages at Surfside℠, a stay-all-day destination right onboard that opens the floodgates on family fun. Allure of the Seas first served Caribbean cruisers, launching from Florida and staying home-ported there until 2015. Then, it switched over to sailing in the Mediterranean for part of the year as well. Allure of the Seas was the largest cruise ship and the first-ever Oasis-class cruise ship to spend a full season in the Mediterranean region. Or head down to Deck 4, where you'll find the casino and an ice rink that offers open skating a few times per sailing.
Ice Skating Rink
Allure OTS' drydock 2020 was postponed and revised, with all the staterooms and venue upgrades paused and delayed until RCI's financial situation improves. There are two "secret balconies" positioned close to the aft elevators on Deck 9. Both balconies are small (each is furnished with a table and two chairs), overlook Central Park and are some of the best points to view the entire neighborhood. Central Park is an outdoor relaxation zone (within the ship's interior) with 20000+ live plants. Signage boards provide detailed info on all Central Park's trees and plants.

The Deluxe Package includes all of these drink as well as unlimited alcohol for $98 per day. It seems like every time the cruise line introduces a new ship, it’s bigger and better than the last. Launched in 2009, at the time, it was the largest passenger ship in the entire world, only to be surpassed when Royal Caribbean unveiled Harmony of the Seas, six years later. If you sail on Allure of the Seas, expect service charges of anywhere from $16 to $18.50 per person, per day charged to your onboard account, depending on your cabin type. Although we don't encourage it, you can visit the guest services desk to have the amount adjusted down or removed.
Stunning destinations and scene-stealing entertainment aren’t the only things to look forward to on your holiday — there’s an adventure for your taste buds, too. Like mouthwatering Italian dishes at Giovanni’s℠ Table, elegant cuisine made from fresh and flavourful ingredients at 150 Central Park and tender prime meat served in a classic steakhouse setting at Chops Grille℠. When you set out on adventure like this, every moment onboard is an opportunity to make boast-worthy memories. Explore deck-defying discoveries, world-class dining and the best cruise entertainment onboard Allure of the Seas® – the most awarded ship in the world.
The ship has four pools — Main Pool, graded-entry Beach Pool, family-friendly H2O Zone Pool and Sports Pool, which hosts lap swimming, water polo and badminton — in its Pool and Sports Zone on Deck 15. The area also encompasses six hot tubs, two FlowRider surf simulators that also allow boogie boarding, a miniature golf course and a zipline, as well as a sports court and Ping-Pong tables. The 225,282-ton Allure of the Seas was the world's largest cruise ship -- for six years -- before other sister ships kept stealing the title; the latest being Wonder of the Seas debuting in 2022. The Allure of the Seas capacity is 5,492 passengers at double occupancy or 6,452 when every berth is full.

And parents can kick back and get on island time at the adults-only Solarium, where the views are endless and the atmosphere is always perfect for unwinding. Whatever kind of vibe you’re looking for on your vacation, Allure of the Seas® checks all the boxes. The teen lounge on Deck 15 is where kids ages 12 to 17 can play video games, have fun with karaoke or head out to the teens- only dance floor. Right outside the teen lounge is the sports deck, which boasts a full-size sports court with rotating games of pickleball, basketball, soccer and dodge ball. Deck 15 is also home to two FlowRider surf simulators, ping pong tables, mini-golf and a zip line.
Until Harmony's inauguration in 2016, Allure and Oasis were the world's biggest cruise vessels. Still, Allure was the bigger one - just 50 mm (nearly 2 inches) longer compared to Oasis. The hulls of both vessels were named in May 2008, following an online competition for proposing the best ship name.
Get down after dark with more bars than any ship out there and savour a world of possibilities right onboard. There’s a complimentary kids club on Deck 14 for 3 – 11 year-olds offering fun programming throughout the day. The Adventure Ocean program divides kids into the 3-5 year-old Aquanuts, 6-8 year-old Explorers and 9-11 year-old Voyagers.
If you like to participate in theme nights, prepare by packing items appropriately colored for the Red Party and white night. The system on board is completely cashless, which means you'll use your room key — called a SeaPass card — for charging purchases when you sail. You'll have to tie either a credit card or a set amount of cash to it before your cruise.

For the first time ever, fill your days on a short escape with Oasis Class thrills – onboard Allure of the Seas® sailing from Port Canaveral or Miami. Kick off your hols even before you set sail by exploring Orlando’s state parks, emerald golf courses and one-of-a-kind museums. Or cruise from Miami to enjoy the city's stunning beaches, lively neighbourhoods and melting pot of cultures. This Oasis Class favourite brings adventure to soaring new heights.

In 2015, Allure OTS was deployed in Europe (for the first time) for 7-day Western Mediterranean cruises leaving roundtrip from homeports Civitavecchia-Rome (Italy) and Barcelona (Spain). On repositioning, the ship offers Transatlantic crossings between Europe and Florida. Aft on Deck 6/Boardwalk there is a stern-facing viewing area accessed via a path that circles around the AquaTheater. This "secret area" offers great views of the ship’s wake (trace on the water surface), also provides great views of the entire neighborhood and has a shuffleboard. Weeklong voyages usually have one formal night, where passengers are encouraged to dress to the nines. Sailings of more than seven nights might have more than one of these.
The menu changes daily — often to feature a set cuisine, such as Italian, Mexican or Caribbean. In other areas of the ship, ghosts of amenities past haunt the deck plans. Looking for Jazz on 4, which is still found on paper maps and directional ship models? You won't find it because it was converted to a nonsmoking casino years ago. In addition to theme parties, the schedule was packed with Royal Promenade celebrations, silent disco parties and other shenanigans that involved dancing and socializing until late. For a street festival vibe, check out the Fiesta Balloon Drop, which covers passengers in colorful balloons and confetti.
It offers separate areas for Royal Babies and Tots (6 months to 2 years), Aquanauts (3 to 5 years), Explorers (6 to 8 years) and Voyagers (9 to 11 years) on Deck 14 forward. There are also dedicated spaces for arts and crafts, science experiments and parent-child playtime (for the youngest cruisers). One of the ship's major hubs, the Royal Promenade is reminiscent of a shopping mall and runs nearly the length of Deck 5. Here you'll find the guest services desk, the Champagne Bar, the Globe and Atlas Pub, a stand-alone Starbucks, future cruise and shore excursion desks, several shops, a karaoke lounge and Latin music-themed Boleros nightclub. Bare feet are not permitted at any time in any venue, and tank tops are not allowed in any of the restaurants, except the buffet, for dinner. Shorts are discouraged in the main dining room for dinner, but you'll see people in them anyway.
